Your Wonderful Name

Were you named after something?someone?or what was you going to be called if you were the oppisite gender?
My name is French and there is a actual place in France, called Chantelle!
My mum wanted to call me Courtney but my dad wanted Chantelle and because at the time lots of people were being called Courtney they choose Chantelle!
If I was a boy I was going to be called Aaron my brothers name and then I luckily came out as a perfect princess little girl who was greatly called Chantelle!

I have no idea why I was called Dan, but my middle name, Thomas, is after my dad, and his dad, and maybe more...

My name (Kirsty) is taken from 'Christina'. It has a religious meaning of Christ-follower. Amazingly, I'm not religious.

My sister was 3 years and picked my name of a name-book, saying "Fredlik" instead of "Fredrik".
